{"id":6515,"date":"2023-05-09T11:57:14","date_gmt":"2023-05-09T01:57:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/ssc\/?post_type=article&#038;p=6515"},"modified":"2023-05-11T12:48:09","modified_gmt":"2023-05-11T02:48:09","slug":"anzac-day-liturgy-led-by-year-2","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/ssc\/article\/anzac-day-liturgy-led-by-year-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Anzac Day Liturgy led by Year 2"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Thursday 27 April, our Year 2 students and teachers led the school in a special whole school assembly commemorating Anazac Day (Sunday 25 April).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This liturgy gave students an opportunity to experience the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by Australians during times of war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Special mention goes to Cordelia Highfield in Year 12, who again this year performed <em>The Last Post<\/em> during the liturgy. We appreciate her taking time out of her busy study schedule to play for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
