For the first time since 2019 we may just have a &#8216;normal&#8217; term 1. Ten straight weeks of students&nbsp;engaging&nbsp;in outdoor learning has begun. This week we have 170 Loreto Normanhurst students&nbsp;participating in their Year 7 camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We started the term off with the Tallong campus open day, held on Sunday 5 February. Close to 160 new students and parents of the College attended making it one of the largest we have held in recent history. These students and parents were able to savour the delicious cooking of Cheffrey and the kitchen team, view the campus accommodation and facilities plus engage in a number of our&nbsp;education&nbsp;activities we have at the campus.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Have a look at two minutes of highlights from the day<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Tallong Open Day 2023\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GCcwZc_qX8M?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2023 we anticipate&nbsp;there being a number of events targeted&nbsp;specifically&nbsp;at the College community. The first of these was our campus open day. The second of these will be the inaugural&nbsp;Mother\/Daughter Health and Harmony retreat, to be held over the weekend of 27 and 28 May. Thirdly, our parent and child adventure weekend, will be held in Term 4.
