Outdoor Education Experience<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n


<\/strong>Last week, our Year 3 students visited the Santa Sabina Tallong Outdoor Education Campus. The students had fun learning new skills and participating in new and exciting experiences such as mountain bike riding, shelter making, and campfire cooking. It was wonderful to see our students trying new things, strengthening friendships and growing as learners, all the while maintaining our school values of community, service, prayer and study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Year 3 Reflections<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had the best food at Tallong, my favourite meal was the mushroom pasta! <\/p>Elena<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

I enjoyed all the activities at Tallong, my favourite was the group teamwork challenge trying to balance the plank. <\/p>Analicia<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

I enjoyed mountain bike riding. I challenged myself by going on the stunts. <\/p>Eden<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

My favourite activity was the group challenges, especially the low ropes because it was very challenging. <\/p>Sophia<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

I enjoyed shelter building because I got to show off my nature skills.<\/p>Deon<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

I am also proud of building a shelter and participating in the group challenges. The most challenging thing was sleeping by myself. I didn’t give up on hard activities. Next year I want to get better at mountain biking.<\/p>Steph<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
