Once a week, all students across Years 5 and 6 participate in a Pi Maths enrichment session. The aim of this program is to provide all students with enrichment opportunities at their working level.\u00a0The activities are carefully designed to develop students’ skills and knowledge of mathematical concepts and engage them in real-life solutions. This year, 70 students competed in Maths Olympiad and Maths Challenge Games. The contests are unique in that they focus on the students\u2019 ability to solve mathematical problems in a creative manner<\/strong> \u2013 as opposed to simply reaching a solution using a prescribed method. We congratulate all students on their hard work and we look forward to sharing the final results with you in our next newsletter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
