{"id":3777,"date":"2022-09-13T14:52:05","date_gmt":"2022-09-13T04:52:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/ssc\/?post_type=article&#038;p=3777"},"modified":"2022-09-15T14:16:31","modified_gmt":"2022-09-15T04:16:31","slug":"ipsha-gala-debating-day-2022","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/ssc\/article\/ipsha-gala-debating-day-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"IPSHA GALA DEBATING DAY 2022\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday 13 September, eight students from Gioia House participated in the IPSHA 2022 Gala Debating Day held at PLC Sydney.&nbsp;The topics were \u2018<em>That online learning is better than face-to-face learning\u2019<\/em> and \u2018<em>That all Year 5 and Year 6 students should be forced to do compulsory community service.\u2019 <\/em>The students worked collaboratively to create their arguments and rebuttals prior to the debate and enthusiastically competed against other schools, further building on their debating skills.
