We are heading towards the end of our season with some teams having their final round game this weekend and others progressing through to finals. The dates for the remainder of the season are below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday 6 August: Week 14 (last round game)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday 13 August: Semi-Finals (last round game Year 4 teams and SSC 9, SSC 10)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday 20 August: Prelim Final (last round game Year 3 team)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday 27 August: Grand Final<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday 5 September: Spare weekend should a finals weekend be washed out<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are no finals for Years 3 and 4 teams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SSC 9 and SSC 10<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Your last round game will be on Saturday 13 August, as there are there six teams in the grade and you play three rounds, then you go into finals as below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Division with six teams plays three rounds and do not<\/strong> play semi-finals: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

i. The team with the highest points plays in the Grand Final. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ii. The final shall be played between 2 v 3 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

iii. The Grand Final shall be played between the team with the highest points and the winner of 2 v 3 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The finals format times may be different to round games. The updated finals times can be found on the Netball tile on VO<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Semi-final<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1st v 2nd (Winner goes straight to the Grand Final loser plays in Prelim Final against winner of 3rd v 4th)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3rd v 4th (Winner plays in Prelim Final against loser of 1st v 2nd, loser is out and their season has ended)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prelim final<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner in the Prelim Final will then play in the Grand Final<\/strong> against the Semi Final winner of 1st v 2nd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finals updated draws will be on VO and sent out on the school App.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2023 ERNA Representative Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The purpose of the ERNA Junior Representative Program is to provide a training environment for junior players to access quality development opportunities. This program is a pathway to future representative opportunities in netball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please read through the representative information document prior to nominating. This document can also be found under the Representative tab on the ERNA website<\/strong> or on the Netball tile of VO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nominations close at 4:00pm on the Thursday prior to the trial date for that age group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase 1 trial dates<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12 years (born 2011)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase 1 \u2013 SUNDAY 14 August 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Player sign on from 7:45am<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clinic 8:00am-11:00am<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Successful players will be announced on Facebook by Wednesday 17 Aug after 3:00pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

13 years, 14 years, 15 years<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase 1 \u2013 SUNDAY 21 August 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clinic 8:00am-11:00am<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Successful players will be announced on Facebook by Wednesday 24 August after 3:00pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginner Netball players<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Eastwood Ryde Netball Association are running a Woolworths NetSetGO ‘Come & Try Netball’ program for beginner netballers (boys and girls) aged 6-9 years (born 2013 – 2016)  on Mondays 22 and 29 August from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Meadowbank Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to a City of Ryde community grant along with ERNA, the cost is only $10 to participate – registration and payment link: https:\/\/www.playhq.com\/netball-australia\/register\/daa5a7<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
