Dear Families<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Charlotte O\u2019Brien\u2019s death remains a profound tragedy and our thoughts and prayers continue to be with her family, friends and all those affected by this loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following inquests relating to matters at other schools, members of our community have understandably queried whether there would be a formal inquest into Charlotte\u2019s death. As you would expect, the College has provided every available assistance to NSW Police and the State Coroner\u2019s Office, including the provision of records and statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We write to advise that the College has now been informed that the circumstances surrounding Charlotte\u2019s death will not proceed to a formal inquest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a College community, we continue to place the wellbeing and care of young people at the centre of all that we do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
