Students in Year 4 have learned about changes to the Earth’s surface, focusing on the impacts of earthquakes and volcanoes. Linking with digital technology, they were introduced to the Micro:bit device and applied their coding skills to design and simulate a tool for use in warning people about natural disasters. Students then tested these devices in response to shaking movements, where icons, sounds and messages were displayed on their Micro:bits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
