More than 40 clubs transformed Dom\u2019s Plot into a vibrant hub of curiosity and excitement. This season we are proudly facilitating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>two IGSA Water Polo teams \u2013 19 players<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>seven IGSA Touch Football teams \u2013 81 players<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>10 IGSA Tennis teams \u2013 45 players<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>seven IPSHA Girls Football teams (Years 3\u20136) \u2013 57 players<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>one IPSHA Boys Basketball team (Years 3\u20134) \u2013 8 players<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Invitational Volleyball \u2013 18 teams, 178 players.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Santa Sabina is also hosting the Invitational Volleyball Competition, which is expected to welcome more than 130 teams, including our own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Carnivals, clubs and competition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday 20 February, members of our Swimming Team represented the College at the MLC Invitational Carnival, competing with spirit and determination against Danebank, SCEGGS Darlinghurst, MLC, Wenona and St Scholastica&#8217;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Across our broader Co\u2011curricular program, 135 students have already enrolled in activities including Swim Club, Boxing, Athletics, Fencing, Badminton Skills, Mandarin, Strength and Conditioning and Fit Club. It is inspiring to see such diverse engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Representative Sport: a season of promise<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Interest in our representative programs continues to grow:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>96 students have registered for Representative Volleyball trials beginning Monday 14 February.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>165 students have auditioned for our Dance Representative program, with Ms Watkins currently finalising teams for what promises to be an exciting season.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Netball trials commenced last week, with teams soon to be selected for IWNA competitions and College Representative pathways.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2026 Swimming Carnival \u2013 important information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our annual Santa Sabina College Swimming Carnival will be held on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Date<\/strong>: Thursday 19 February 2026<br><strong>Venue<\/strong>: Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre (SOPAC)<br><strong>Attendance<\/strong>: Compulsory for all students in Years 3\u201312<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>Transport<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Years 3\u20136 will travel by bus, departing Carrington Road at 8:45am.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students competing in the 200 IM Medley must make their own way, with supervision available from 8:30am.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Primary students may travel with older siblings (please indicate this on the Travel Form).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Student Travel Form: PLEASE <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSftW30OHZwa7Fc5XX0ubi2FVZV-pSwo0DL0sSfuI9JZZMZAqA\/viewform?usp=publish-editor\">CLICK HERE<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Departure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Years 3\u20136 will return to the College by bus for normal dismissal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parents may collect their child from the venue at 2:30pm or nominate for them to travel home with an older sibling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Primary students will be dismissed outside the centre by their teachers. Parents are not permitted to cross the bridge to collect students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program &amp; uniform<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Carnival Program will be available on Veritas Online and the College App.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students must wear full College Sports uniform to and from the venue, and their College swimming costume during events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>House\u2011coloured accessories may be worn during the carnival.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What to bring<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Swimming cap (compulsory)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>College swimming costume<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Towel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Goggles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Underwear<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plastic bag<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Packed lunch and water bottle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clearly labelled belongings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note: There is no canteen access.
