Our Year 2 students recently enjoyed a special visit to the Secondary Campus, where they took part in an engaging science lesson led by our senior science teachers. The focus of the session was mixing materials, a key concept in early science learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To bring the idea to life, students rolled up their sleeves and created their very own playdough. Through this hands-on activity, they explored how different ingredients combine to form new materials, deepening their understanding of scientific processes in a fun and memorable way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opportunity to learn in the Secondary Campus science laboratory helped students achieve an understanding of where real scientists work and was a highlight for the students. Not only did they gain valuable insights into science, but they also experienced the excitement of working in a new environment with specialist teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration between the Primary and Secondary Campuses is a wonderful example of how we make the most of our resources to enrich student learning. Year 2 returned inspired, proud of their creations, and eager to continue their scientific explorations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
