Literacy \u2013 our Dreaming<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Goodjagah, little one, walk with me … I want to tell you our\u00a0Dreaming\u00a0as the Elders told it to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This term, Year 3 students have been delving into Our Dreaming<\/em> by Kirli Saunders, a rich and heartwarming text that celebrates First Nations culture and storytelling. Through our exploration, we\u2019ve deepened our understanding of how Dreaming Stories express a spiritual connection to Country and how Elders share this wisdom with younger generations through oral traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve also had the opportunity to learn words from the Gandangara language featured in the book. This has helped us appreciate the deep cultural ties and cherished memories that connect the Gandangara people to their land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
