This term, Year 2 students  embarked on a fascinating journey in their Science and Technology unit. The focus was on understanding how living things change and reproduce. Through hands-on activities, students observed the patterns of growth and change in living things, describe these patterns, and making predictions about what might happen next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most exciting projects involved growing plants in cotton wool. This simple yet effective method allowed students to see first-hand how seeds sprout and develop into plants. By using cotton wool instead of soil, the students could easily observe the roots and shoots as they grew, making it a perfect learning tool for young scientists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
