Visit to the Museum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday 27 March,\u00a0Year\u00a03\u00a0went to the Mother Bertrand Walsh Museum on the Santa Sabina College campus. The purpose of the visit was to investigate the inquiry question \u2018How the Santa Sabina Community has changed\u2019 currently being explored in History. The students viewed artifacts from the past which included past uniforms and school books. Students listened to information about how classes were organised, the different changes to the organisation of the Houses and the ways the play areas at Del Monte have changed over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The children spent a lot of time observing the artifacts and asked probing questions throughout their time at the museum. It was an enjoyable experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
