Our Year 11 HSC Music students have been engaging in an exciting exploration of the connections between contemporary popular music and Baroque traditions. Through analysis and performance, they are uncovering how compositional techniques from historical periods continue to influence modern music in new and innovative ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are also looking forward to our Australian Composers Day<\/strong> on Monday 7 April<\/strong>, where elective music students from Years 9 to 12 will have the opportunity to be inspired by some of Australia\u2019s leading composers. The workshops and seminars will provide invaluable insights into contemporary art composition and help students develop their own unique creative voices. Please note that though students all over the state will join us for this day, Santa Sabina<\/strong> students do not need to register via trybooking and you will attend free of charge.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, our junior music students have been developing their performance skills.
