It was also a <a><\/a>powerful reminder that the work of empowering women and girls is woven into the everyday life of our College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you to our outstanding ex-student speakers \u2014 Paula Duncan AM, actress, philanthropis and ambassador for women&#8217;s health (Class of 1972), Amy Rixon, Chief People Officer at HUB24 (Class of 1997), Bridget Clark Olympian and international rugby player (Class of 2020), and Annabel Cowley, computer software engineer at Canva (Class of 2018), and to our brilliant moderator Anne Salem, retail beauty industry expert and tv presenter (Class of 1986), who challenged us to keep marching forward \u2014 for ALL women and girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was a combined community event \u2013 a special thank you to our Ex-Students\u2019 Association and Parents &amp; Friends&#8217; Association for partnering with us to bring this event to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"International Women&#039;s Day 2025\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/d7FuoI2ySGg?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discovery Tour<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our first Discovery Tour of 2025 was well attended by young families who are looking to educate their children at Santa Sabina as well as at St Lucy&#8217;s @ Santa \u2013 the satellite school on our campus which is part of St Lucy&#8217;s School. We would love for you to join us at our signature Career Women\u2019s Breakfast on Friday 16 May 2025, from 7:00am \u2013 9:00am in Siena Hall. Our Guest Speaker is <a href=\"https:\/\/stratwest.com.au\/people\/\">Faith Halliday<\/a> (Class of 2000), CEO of StratWest and Co-Chair of Parramatta Women&#8217;s Shelter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will also be opportunities throughout the year to participate in industry-specific networking events, work placements, and mock interviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This network continues to thrive \u2013 at last year\u2019s breakfast, over 110 mentors from diverse industries connected with our senior students and recent graduates, offering invaluable support, work experience, and career advice. Their guidance has helped open doors and build confidence, ensuring our students are future-ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Research shows that women are often hesitant to put themselves forward, particularly for leadership roles. This is why we are calling on our alumni and community members to champion our young women, to share wisdom, encouragement, and real-world insights.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in becoming a mentor at this exciting event or throughout the year, please&nbsp;<strong>fill&nbsp;<\/strong>out the form below.
