They identified evidence of change through exploring different types of rocks and fossils and learned to classify rocks into three categories \u2013 igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic. Students worked in small groups to engage in a hands-on investigation with a range of rocks provided by the SSC Science Labs, including quartz, marble and sandstone. They recorded their observations and conducted additional research to become experts on their chosen rocks. Students enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to view, discuss and learn more about how rocks reflect changes on the Earth\u2019s surface.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Anna Donato, Nicole
