Small group targeted word study program across Stage 3 is now in full swing. During spelling lessons, students are engaged in explicit teaching of the spelling rules and word meanings to support vocabulary growth and its application to reading and writing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grouping ensures that we are meeting the needs of all students, through data informed analysis. It fosters a differentiated learning environment consisting of experiences that provide an appropriate level of challenge, and foster meaningful learning opportunities. These groups are fluid and students move between the groups based on their needs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
