Year 3
This year has been a time of learning and growth for Year 3. The students have faced challenges with resilience. They began the year stepping up to NAPLAN, showing persistence through their preparation and completion of the assessments in Term 1. The year ended on a high note as our students embraced their first Outdoor Education Experience at Tallong, showing once again that they have the maturity and resilience to move out of their comfort zones.
Throughout the year, there have been many opportunities to celebrate learning and friendship. Highlights for Year 3 have been the Athletics Carnival, the Colour Fun Run, the Swimming Carnival at Olympic Park, St Dom’s Day and Book Week just to name a few. All of these experiences have provided students with opportunities to make new friends, learn new skills and celebrate their achievements.
Our Outdoor Education Experience at Tallong was our favourite event of the year. We loved mountain bike riding, shelter building, Cheffrey’s food, and all the new experiences and challenges. We loved learning together in a fun way.
Our big achievements were getting to know our classmates, making new friends and completing NAPLAN.
Next year, we are looking forward to going to Tallong again, making more new friends and exciting leadership opportunities.
