Gather Round

With a busy end to the term, the Gather Round participants have been putting the finishing touches on their podcasts. The range of topics selected by the students reflect their broad interests and talents.

Some of their titles are:

• St Lucy’s Are Coming to Santa
• Origami – The History and Why You Should Try It
• The Evolution of Prodigy
• The Striker’s Podcast

The students conducted interviews with various experts on their topics, selecting individuals ranging from teachers to friends for their expert knowledge. To engage their audience, the students incorporated a variety of sound effects and language features. This enrichment opportunity allowed participants to leverage their strengths to create something meaningful and, most importantly, learn from their mistakes along the way.
