On Friday 30 January, we celebrated the 2025 Scholars at the Scholars\u2019 Assembly. This event welcomed back a group of remarkable young women who graduated with an ATAR of 90 or above. Their presence reminded our College community that strong women create strong movements \u2013 each of them a powerful example of where ambition, resilience, and hard work can lead.<\/p>\n

The assembly was an opportunity to celebrate their dedication, hear their future aspirations, and inspire our current students to follow in their footsteps. We were also proud to acknowledge the 2025 College Dux and Proxime Accessit, recognising their exceptional academic excellence and leadership.<\/p>\n

The 2025 graduates who attended the Scholars\u2019 Assembly included:<\/p>\n

Renisha Abraham<\/strong> \u2013 Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at James Cook University (Townsville).<\/p>\n

Keeley Adebahr<\/strong> \u2013 Bachelor of Biomedical Science at The University of Queensland. Keeley has deferred her studies to take a gap year.<\/p>\n

Brooke Anderson<\/strong> – Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at James Cook University (Townsville).<\/p>\n

Maddison Andrejic<\/strong> \u2013 Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at James Cook University (Townsville). Maddison has deferred her offer to first study a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences at James Cook University (Townsville). She was the recipient of the JCU Deans\u2019 Scholarship.<\/p>\n

Meg Burbidge<\/strong> \u2013 Bachelor of Science\/Laws (Honours) at The University of Queensland.<\/p>\n

Marian Edwards<\/strong> \u2013 Doctor of Medicine (MD) provisional entry at The University of Queensland. Marian will complete a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Queensland before continuing her studies of a Doctor of Medicine.<\/p>\n

Isabelle Gilboy<\/strong> \u2013 Isabelle was the recipient of the JCU Rising Star Scholarship and will complete a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at James Cook University (Townsville).<\/p>\n

Eryn Matters<\/strong> \u2013 Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) \u2013 Bachelor of Science at James Cook University (Townsville).<\/p>\n

Saskia Tresch <\/strong>\u2013 Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University (Cairns).<\/p>\n

Gemma Warburton<\/strong> \u2013 Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at James Cook University (Townsville).<\/p>\n

Edan Watson<\/strong> \u2013 Bachelor of International Security Studies at the Australian National University.<\/p>\n
