{"id":5060,"date":"2024-11-19T10:34:25","date_gmt":"2024-11-19T00:34:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/spc-townsville\/?post_type=article&#038;p=5060"},"modified":"2024-11-27T08:36:37","modified_gmt":"2024-11-26T22:36:37","slug":"5060","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/spc-townsville\/article\/5060\/","title":{"rendered":"FROM THE DEAN OF ACADEMIC OPERATIONS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>2025 Subjects<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students in Years 7, 9 and 10 have submitted their 2025 subject selection forms.\u00a0 A reminder that if students want to change any of their preferences for 2025 they are encouraged to contact the Learning and Teaching Office.<\/p>\n<p><strong>End of Year Report Card<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Term 4 Report Cards will be distributed in the holidays via email to all parents of students in Years 7 to 10.\u00a0 The Year 7 to 10 Term 4 Report will include an overview of academic achievement, behaviour, and work ethic in each subject throughout Term 4, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The Year 11 Report will be a Unit Three Interim Report.\u00a0 As Year 11&#8217;s have just received a report card, the report card issued will indicate how your daughter is progressing behaviourally and in her work ethic across her subjects.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If your contact details have changed, please reach out to the College Office to update your details before the reports are distributed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2025 Stationery Lists and BYOD Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In preparation for 2025, the Stationery Lists can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stpatscollege.qld.edu.au\/parents\/stationery-byod\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">College Website<\/a>.\u00a0 If your daughter has forgotten which electives she has chosen, she can email Ms Melissa Soroka-McCall, Personal Assistant to the Deputy Principal \u2013 Academic, <a href=\"mailto:%20msoroka-mccall@stpatscollege.qld.edu.au\">\u00a0msoroka-mccall@stpatscollege.qld.edu.au<\/a> or contact the College Office.<\/p>\n<p>The College website also includes the 2025 BYOD Specifications.\u00a0 It is important to review these specifications, particularly if you are purchasing a new computer for 2025 or beyond.\u00a0 In particular, I draw your attention to the not recommended and not compatible columns and the note that the College does not support Macs or Chrome Books.\u00a0 If you have any questions in relation to these BYOD specifications, do not hesitate to contact IT Support via <a href=\"mailto:itsupport@stpatscollege.qld.edu.au\">itsupport@stpatscollege.qld.edu.au<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4780 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2024\/08\/Pacey-Christopher-320x320.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" \/><\/h2>\n<h2>Chris Pacey<\/h2>\n<p><strong>DEAN OF ACADEMIC OPERATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2025 Subjects Students in Years 7, 9 and 10 have submitted their 2025 subject selection forms.\u00a0 A reminder that if students want to change any of their preferences for 2025 they are encouraged to contact the Learning and Teaching Office.
