All Arts students have once again been focused this term with multiple opportunities arising to present their skills.<\/p>\n

October kicked off with the Dance Troupe performing their piece African Rains at the Sports Women\u2019s Dinner in Week 2. Lauren Franettovich returned as a guest to perform \u201cInspiration Army\u201d with our very own Dance Troupe superstars, Sarah Mosch and Lara Stewart.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Week 3 of October, saw Arts students with an opportunity to present a small selection of their work to an audience of parents at an intimate gathering in the Drama room. This miniature ALL-ARTS concert was a taste of things to come for when the East Precinct building is ready. Drama students performed their short theatre piece \u201cThe Jolly Jade\u201d, the Percussion Ensemble showcased their upbeat 2nd<\/sup> place piece from the Eisteddfod, and some key Capture@Pats and Film Club student work was aired for the first time as a precursor for things to come in the new year.<\/p>\n

Speech Night is always a musical treat, with the Guitar Ensemble and Choir performing across the night. The College Choir impressed audiences with their moving opening of John Farnham\u2019s \u201cYou\u2019re the Voice\u201d while the Guitar Ensemble reprised their entertaining performance of \u201cThe Joker\u201d, made famous by the Kath and Kim series. In November, the College and Liturgy Choir joined forces to feature at several other events including Remembrance Day and the Year 12 Mass, however, a highlight for the girls was singing at the final Career Women\u2019s Breakfast for the year. The girls sang one last time for Ms Skerman with a performance of the ABBA classic, \u201cThank You for the Music\u201d to show their appreciation of her dedication to supporting the music program. Sincere thanks goes to all teachers, dedicated students and their families who turn up regularly to rehearsals and performances to represent and support the college.<\/p>\n
