Queensland Chief Entrepreneur – Leanne Kemp

Our Year 10 Start Up class was delighted to receive an impromptu visit from Queensland Chief Entrepreneur Leanne Kemp last week who stopped by to inspire the girls with some words of wisdom from her own entrepreneurial journey. Leanne later brought all of her energy to the Year 9 and 10 Start Up students as part of a group presentation where she shared her advice about the future of innovation and entrepreneurship as it applies to the environment and sustainability. Our girls were inspired to consider circular economy initiatives and how emerging technologies create economic value systems to solve the big issues facing humanity today. Year 10 Students Ella Hall and Piper James represented the College with Ms Jordan Stewart at the “Waterside Chat & Networking Function”, where they learned about making valuable business connections.
