Year 8 Geography

Geography students currently learning about landforms made a trip up Castle Hill to conduct assessments on the site.They really enjoyed the walk and the view from the top. Further excursions to The Strand allowed students to assess landforms along the beach. Data from both excursions will be used by students in their upcoming field study assessments. 

Year 11 Geography

This week Year 11 Geography students enjoyed a workshop with members of the Townsville City Council’s Planning Department, learning about liveability. This was a fantastic oppertunity for students to ask questions about real-life practices of local government that can be considered for their upcoming assessment task.
