Year 10 Hospitality

This week our Year 10 Hospitality class have been creating Masterchef worthy dishes as part of their Street Food Fusion assessment. Students experimented with different food casings and ingredients to create unique dishes. The girls worked very hard and produced a wide range of dishes including variations on pasties and spring rolls. The girls have also been practicing their presentation skills. 

 

Year 11 Hospitality Practices 

Soups and noodles are popular dishes to cook at home because they are cost-effective and quick and easy to prepare. There is also a growing trend in Australia of restaurants to serve only soups and noodles. This term the Year 11 Hospitality Practices students have been investigating noodle and soup dishes from around the world. Each student had to plan, produce and evaluate their own dish and those of other students in the class.
