2025 ANZAC DAY

The College came together to pay tribute to and remember those who have served our country during times of conflict and crisis. The liturgy offered a powerful reminder of the importance of ANZAC Day, creating a space for reflection, appreciation, and remembrance.

We were privileged to welcome several distinguished guests, including our guest speaker, Major Bryana Hunt. It was a pleasure to also welcome Ms Shanelle Rubio and her twin sister, Petty Officer Kerryn Seaborn, to the Honour Roll in recognition of their service in the Royal Australian Navy.

We also acknowledged one of our Defence parents, Mr Matt Waldron, who proudly served in the Australian Army for 25 years, 7 months, and 13 days, concluding his career at the rank of Warrant Officer Class 2. Thank you for your exceptional service to our nation Mr Waldron.

Students and staff also came together with the Townsville community to commemorate ANZAC Day through Dawn Services and Marches held across the city. St Patrick’s College Townsville was privileged to lead the schools marching along The Strand. We remain forever grateful for the bravery and sacrifice of those who served to protect our nation.

Lest We Forget.
