The English Department worked alongside Mr Huw Blood, the Head of Service Learning, to plan an event that offered valuable insight into the speakers\u2019 remarkable lives, the significance of charitable services in our society, and the importance of sharing stories with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-swr-span-all\">Both speakers shared deeply personal stories, reflecting on their personal experiences and work assisting those in need in the Sydney community. These reflections revealed powerful life lessons to the young men of Year 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-swr-span-all\">Students will have the opportunity to visit <em>Our Big Kitchen <\/em>with their House Groups in the coming weeks and <em>Rough Edges<\/em> in their Senior Years at Shore.
