URBNSURF<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For the first time, Shore surfing was held at Homebush on Saturday morning.\u00a0The newly opened wave pool URBNSURF hosted the Shore surfers for a one-hour session. The morning started with instruction from Matt Grainger (Surf Coach and Owner of Manly Surf School) who showed the surfers how to ride the wave, where to set up for the tube, and which sections of the wave to carry speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The surfers then got to choose the left-hander or the right. The wave setting was on \u2018Expert\u2019 which provided a solid wave that allowed one set-up turn before it raced into a barrel section. The Shore surfers quickly became comfortable with the wave, and some excellent waves were made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tube of the morning went to Sam Chan<\/strong> on his forehand on he left. He was slotted deep in the pit and held his line to emerge at speed. It was great to see the high standard of surfing from all of the Shore boys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
