Following a combined 4 games lost over 3 doubles, with special mention to <strong>Josh Powell<\/strong> and <strong>Connor Fung<\/strong> for a 6-0 6-0 victory, the tone was set for the day. The boys picked up where they left off and dominated the singles and proceeded not to drop a set&nbsp;throughout the tie. <strong>Ari Ganassin <\/strong>and<strong> Connor Fung<\/strong> both won their singles 6-0 6-1 showcasing the impressive depth this team possesses. <strong>Harper Cunningham<\/strong> dug deep and wrapped up the day following a 6-0 7-5 win concluding play by 3:15. It was a clinical display of tennis enforced by a great level of sportsmanship and comradery and positions the team well, increasing their edge on the leader board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Oliver Wilcox<\/strong><br>Firsts Captain<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Seconds Report<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Shore Seconds continue their undefeated start to the season with an impressive 9-0 win over Joeys. Shore managing to lose zero sets in doubles, started incredibly. The number 1 pair <strong>Josh Cottee <\/strong>and<strong> Oli De Kock<\/strong> showing exemplary form and control of the net, was able to comfortably win, starting the games strong. The second doubles pair <strong>Taj Gupta <\/strong>and<strong> Alex Yu<\/strong> fought to win their first set 6-3 and managed to close the game out with a bagel in the second. Finally, the 3rd doubles pair <strong>Ralphie Fowler<\/strong> and <strong>Chris Hunter<\/strong> with astounding serves to control early and close out the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;To start the singles, Taj Gupta achieved his first double bagel win, managing to close the game out with composure and ease. <strong>Josh Cottee<\/strong> followed, losing only 2 games across his 2 sets. <strong>Oliver De Kock<\/strong> was also victorious, using strong technique to outhit his opponent. A special mention goes to <strong>Ralphie Fowler<\/strong> who fought hard in his first three games and was down 2-1, then managed to win the next 11 games winning 6-2, 6-0. Finally, Alex Yu took a strong lead, winning the first set 6-0, then finished up the second set 6-4. Both the A\u2019s and B\u2019s had a \u201cclean sweep\u201d with not a single game lost, winning 6-0. Special mentions go to <strong>Jack Conner-Brent<\/strong> for having a \u201cDonut\u201d this week and last week winning 6-0 in both games. Furthermore, <strong>Ed Dunnet<\/strong> and <strong>Loki Lam<\/strong> also won 6-0 this week. Both <strong>Raffety White <\/strong>and<strong> James Warren<\/strong> were able to win 6-2 from a 2-all in singles. <strong>Benji Loy, Noah Gee <\/strong>and<strong> Isaac Metcalfe<\/strong> all had close games winning 6-4 in their matches.
