Nearly 20 Shore Old boys gathered at the Coopers Arms in Chelsea, London for a truly memorable day. It wasn\u2019t just the fantastic weather that made the day special; there were generations of Old Boys celebrating together, including an impressive turnout from the gap year students, who all took the opportunity to stand up and give a brief, insightful speech. There was even an Old Boy who flew in from Belgium for the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day was doubly special, with John Lotz (\u201954) being awarded the Fellow of the Union award on the day; this was kept tightly under wraps. John was put forward by members of the UK chapter \u2013 Jonathan Cowper (\u201909), Brian Humphris, (\u201988), Corrie Parsonson (\u201968) and Richard Sevier (\u201987), who sent in an excellent nomination in recognition of all John has done for the chapter over many years. The OBU was delighted to unanimously recognise John\u2019s outstanding commitment to the School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
