Old Boys’ Terrace
The Old Boys’ Union is very pleased to announce that after a number of submissions, the School Council has agreed to rename the upper outdoor area between the Library and the RAI Centre, the ‘Old Boys’ Terrace’.
This is an important development for our Old Boy community for several reasons. It acknowledges the great cooperation between the Old Boys and the School; the great contribution the Old Boy community has made and continues to make to the School; and importantly it will serve as a meeting place for Old Boys for reunions and other events. The ‘Old Boys’ Terrace’ will continue to be a shared space for the School and the wider Shore community. As many Old Boys don’t have a reason to visit the North Sydney campus after they have left the School and don’t feel a connection with it, it is hoped that this area will serve as a link between the Old Boy community and the School – an important meeting place. After the successful Old Boys’ Cocktail Party, we plan to host future Cocktail Parties on the Old Boys’ Terrace, taking advantage of the spectacular views of the harbour.
