<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"As School House Housemaster, one of the unique opportunities I get each year, is to take Yr 12 out to dinner at a local restaurant.\u00a0 Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, there is a restriction on numbers.\u00a0 To over come this obstacle, I chose to spit the boys and staff into two groups and conduct this over two nights.\u00a0 I must admit it was very difficult for me to attend my favourite Thai restaurant two nights in a row but that\u2019s the kind of House Master I am\u2026\u2026.\u00a0 Selfless!<\/p>\n
As parents we hope that we get it right most of the times.\u00a0 As boarding staff, the odds are a bit higher and we hope that we get it right most of the time too\u2026.\u00a0 And if we don\u2019t we blame the boy\u2019s genetics but last Monday & Tuesday night was confirmation we are doing OK.\u00a0 And what was my gauge, simple, \u201cConversation\u201d.\u00a0 Did I gauge it on what we spoke about\u2026 no.\u00a0 Was it the importance of the subjects we spoke about\u2026.\u00a0 no \u2026\u2026..\u00a0 it was simply the ease at which conversation flowed about nothing!<\/p>\n
The Tutors and Boarding staff would like to thank the SL Yr 12 of 2020 for their presence and leadership, it was outstanding! \u2026\u2026\u2026.\u00a0 And the duck in plum sauce was pretty good too.<\/p>\n
