This speech is a vote of thanks towards the staff.\u00a0 The tutors helped us and educated us; they were there when we needed to talk to them about issues that we had. They also organized all the fun stuff we did in tutor group like kick tennis, or touch footy, or handball etc.\u00a0 They also made sure that everyone was included and had fun.\u00a0 They were a great part of our Year 7 experience and those who are leaving School House will never forget you.<\/p>\n<p>The Dining Hall staff made us food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they tried their best to make it taste as good as it can.\u00a0 Even though dinner on the weekends are not the best, they still tried to keep it up to standard.\u00a0 The cleaning staff made sure that the areas we used every day were clean and the bins were taken out and lined.\u00a0 They also washed our dirty clothes and made sure they came back nice and clean.\u00a0 These staff were a part of our experience and we won\u2019t forget.<\/p>\n<p>To Sisters.\u00a0 They helped us when we were sick, or just when we needed Panadol or Strepsils.\u00a0 They helped us get our flu vaccination so we would have less chance of getting sick.\u00a0 They also helped all the boys that got sick towards the end of Term 3 and made sure that they got better.\u00a0 They helped us when we needed to be treated and we are truly grateful for that.<\/p>\n<p>To Ms. Fryda.\u00a0 She helped us through the first term of the year and tried to make our transition to Shore as smooth as possible.\u00a0 She also made the \u2018Friends for Life\u2019 program to help us grow closer together as friends.\u00a0 She was a caring person and she made us heir priority during the first term and during the \u2018Friends for Life\u2019.\u00a0 Although I or the other boys probably don\u2019t see her as much now, she was an important part of the first term and we thank her for her effort.<\/p>\n<p>To the Housemasters.\u00a0 They helped us and made sure that we got our duties done.\u00a0 They were the ones that reminded us about events happening and stuff to do.\u00a0 When we were being silly, it was them that made sure that we got on track and stayed responsible.\u00a0 They also did some fun stuff as well, like opening the gym on a Friday night to play some basketball, or when we made burritos with Ms. Pickering.\u00a0 They played a major role this year and we thank you for that.<\/p>\n<p>To Mr. Pienaar.\u00a0 You were one of the biggest parts of Year 7.\u00a0 Whenever we were feeling down, or need help studying for exams, you were there.\u00a0 You also gave us advice that helped us, and made sure that we were on track.\u00a0 All the fun activities that we went would never have been possible if it wasn\u2019t for you, and would like to thank you for all things that you have done for us.<\/p>\n<p>And to Mr. Junee.\u00a0 You have cared for us and done things for us.\u00a0 Without your funding, we wouldn\u2019t have gone on these amazing activities that we have done.\u00a0 We also would not have gotten those pizzas at State of Origin or those berries to make our own smoothies.\u00a0 You also helped us with and problems we needed.\u00a0 Sure, Thursday night role calls with Mr. Junee were long, but they were helpful, and meant he really cared about what he was talking about.\u00a0 He made sure that everyone in the house was cared for and that nobody was being bullied or being made fun of.\u00a0 For me, he was probably the most important part of Year 7 and I will never forget about it, and I\u2019m sure that those who won\u2019t be in School House next year will forget about you too.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Thank you.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-3164\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/shore-boarding-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2019\/11\/SHORE-Yr7-Thank-you-22-11-19-large-file-29-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2019\/11\/SHORE-Yr7-Thank-you-22-11-19-large-file-29-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2019\/11\/SHORE-Yr7-Thank-you-22-11-19-large-file-29-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/d1dfwahqlx324v.cloudfront.net\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2019\/11\/SHORE-Yr7-Thank-you-22-11-19-large-file-29-1024x1024.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good evening ladies and gentlemen.
