{"id":2753,"date":"2019-08-27T11:01:22","date_gmt":"2019-08-27T01:01:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/shore-boarding-news\/?post_type=article&#038;p=2753"},"modified":"2019-08-27T11:01:22","modified_gmt":"2019-08-27T01:01:22","slug":"james-mccreery-on-city-and-country-life","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/shore-boarding-news\/article\/james-mccreery-on-city-and-country-life\/","title":{"rendered":"James McCreery on City and Country Life"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The days every boarder spends before Shore are the days that build their sense of place in the world, their perspective. \u00a0Open country and broad planes speckled with the few people who have ventured from urbanisation are all most boys know. \u00a0Sure, travelling to the city once a month and maybe even going overseas may break this pattern but for the whole, a boarder rarely experiences \u201ccity living\u201d before Shore. \u00a0Those who have not truly lived in both worlds cannot determine the differences. \u00a0Let me give you just one that has changed my perspective;
