Sports Captains
Barry House has had two outstanding achievers as the new year began. Max Pearce, who only took up rowing relatively late in his school career, was elected as 2019 Captain of Boats. He is also the fastest sculler at Shore. Oliver Spanton was crowned Opens Swimming Champion for 2019 and is also Captain of the Shore Swim team. On Sunday, February 3, Oliver came an amazing 4th place in the Open 5km swim in Manly’s Cole Classic.
