Phillipines End of Year Trip

On the behalf of Harry Litchfield (School), Billy Moore (School) and Julius Andres (Robson), I, Chris Wong personally found this trip to be a life changing moment.

My highlight from this trip would be seeing the joy from the children and parents after an intense day of manual labouring.  Nothing makes me happier than seeing them smile, knowing that I was the one who made a little contribution in improving their lives.  The smiles and the tears are priceless as it makes you forget all the hardship you have just endured out in the fields.

This trip has allowed me to gain an insight into what poverty looks like; it has taught me a valuable lesson in appreciating what I have and not taking things for granted.

Overall, the trip was a lot of fun; the only sad thing is not being able to go on the trip again.

We would also like to give a big shout out to Mr Kriedemann, Mrs Frazer and Mr Scouller for making this trip so memorable and successful.
