As a College community we are proud to celebrate the 2025 recipient of the Archbishop of Sydney Award for Student Excellence – Stephanie Paino.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From a young age, Stephanie has been actively involved in parish life at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Peakhurst. She is an altar server, Extraordinary minister of Holy Communion, cantor, musician, and Children\u2019s Liturgy assistant. Since its inception, Stephanie has been a member of the OLF Youth Choir, helping teach younger members, promoting worship through music. Stephanie regularly attends the Oasis Youth Group for Bible study and volunteers as a Holiday Bible Club leader, guiding kindergarten children in religious activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She contributes to the faith life of the school by participating in Masses as a cantor, musician, lector, and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. A personal highlight was when she sang the Responsorial Psalm at the Cathedral for the school\u2019s Opening Mass this year. For three years, Stephanie has volunteered with OneMeal Kingsgrove, providing meals to the underprivileged, and also participated in the Zonta Birthing Kit Day, helping prepare kits for women in developing countries. Stephanie truly exemplifies the spirit of \u2018<\/span>Serviam<\/span><\/i>\u2019 through her faithful service.<\/span><\/p>\n

We thank Zara Sly, College Captain for reading the citation and Ms Awad and Ms Martinez who accompanied Stephanie and her proud family to St Mary\u2019s Cathedral to receive the award. <\/span><\/p>\n
