We are not left empty-handed; we are entrusted with treasure that must be shared: compassion, presence, wisdom, and hope.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cSell your possessions and give alms&#8230; Get yourselves purses that do not wear out, treasure that will not fail you&#8230;\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> At St Ursula\u2019s, this teaching finds visible expression. In preparing and sharing meals with those experiencing hardship through One Meal, students and staff embody Gospel almsgiving\u2014not only offering food, but dignity, time, and encounter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cSee that you are dressed for action and have your lamps lit&#8230;\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Our Catholic schools are communities where students are formed to be <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">young people of hope<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, awake to the knock of Christ in daily life. Whether it\u2019s honouring intergenerational faith at our Grandparents Mass, or journeying with vulnerable communities in the Cambodia Immersion, we strive to be ready\u2014not with fear, but with open hearts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cHappy those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes&#8230;\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Awake service is faithful, not performative. Pope Leo XIV recently reminded digital missionaries: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cIt is not simply a matter of generating content, but of creating an encounter between hearts\u2026 Be agents of communion, capable of breaking down the logic of division.\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> In our school\u2019s outreach and presence, we reject superficiality and strive for deep connection: the \u201cnetwork of God\u201d formed by love, justice, and shared humanity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWhen a man has had a great deal given to him, a great deal will be demanded of him\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Students are invited to name their \u201ctreasures\u201d\u2014what they\u2019ve been given in family, faith, friendship, intellect\u2014and ask how these gifts can be used to build the kingdom.
