This year\u2019s competition examined eight ethical cases on topical issues such as national service, lookism, the fifth industrial revolution and the role of anger in politics, to name a few. The competition involved discussing and refuting cases with other students at schools across NSW. The debates were judged on ethical theories and moral objectivism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The following eth-letes represented the College, earning an honourable mention from the judges:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Annabelle Johnson<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Anna Richards<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Natalie Petrykowycz<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stephanie Avgoustou<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Margaret Oszywa<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hayley Thompson (reserve)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Through this competition, our eth-letes developed their critical thinking skills through engaging in important discussions with each other and students from a range of Australian contexts.
