Three new Cambodian classrooms funded
Earlier this year, our community participated in the College Walkathon to support the development work of the Ursuline Sisters in Cambodia. These dedicated women are working towards creating a better life for families in the Battambang Province by increasing access to education.
Incredibly, our Walkathon raised a total of $30,037.75 and this contributed towards the construction of three new classrooms for students at the Mother of Peace Primary School in Battambang. The community there recently held a ceremony to open the classrooms. The classrooms will enable children in disadvantaged communities to realise their potential.
