Food for body and soul at One Meal
Thanks to the support of our parish and families and staff from St Ursula’s and Our Lady of Fatima Primary School, last Wednesday evening, our Kingsgrove One Meal takeaway service provided 17 locals with a healthy, warm dinner.
It was lovely to see some familiar faces from last time return. We also packed meals for six local families, which were graciously delivered by Bernie Deady, our local St Vincent de Paul Chapter President.
All the leftover food was delivered to a men’s shelter in Liverpool, and residents were very appreciative of the food, particularly the fresh fruit and sweets.
This is a wonderful community partnership! I thank the team from Our Lady of Fatima Primary School and Father Casey from the Parish.

Donations welcomed
Donations of fresh fruit are warmly appreciated and may be left at Student Services on the day of service.
