Teaching and learning in 2019: a snapshot

Teaching and learning in 2019: a snapshot

We have introduced many new teaching and learning initiatives this year, such as the Festival of Big Ideas and our ever-growing STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) Garden, which will continue in 2020.

Exciting events, such as the visit by the Microsoft STEM Bus, the Big Science Show and the many and varied excursions organised by our different faculties have all enriched our students (and teachers) in their learning journey.

As this newsletter goes to publication, the College is eagerly awaiting the 2019 HSC results, as no doubt are our Year 12 2019 students. I take this opportunity to wish the Class of 2019 every success for the future. I am looking forward to the HSC Morning Tea with these students this Wednesday.

Exciting learning is being planned for 2020, with each Key Learning Area having a planning day this term, all of which is underpinned by our Ursuline Learning Framework Principles:

I take this opportunity to wish each of you a very merry, happy and blessed Christmas. I look forward to continuing our learning journey with you in 2020.

God Bless
