It’s great to be back in court!

The jury’s in – Our Mock Trial team is unanimously thrilled their competition has recommenced, after being postponed for several months due to COVID-19 restrictions. 

Round 1 results

The first round saw St Ursula’s compete against Lucas Heights Community School in a drink-driving case. As defence, we cast doubt on the prosecution’s case. We successfully had the charges against the defendant dismissed. St Ursula’s also beat Lucas Heights by nine points, largely due to strong cross-examination and team-based advocacy. 

In the next round, the team will prosecute a larceny case against Rosebank College.
