College maintains outstanding results in Religious Education test

The results for the Archdiocesan Religious Education test are now available and St Ursula’s College has maintained their outstanding results.

In particular, the Year 10 results are five marks above the Sydney Archdiocese average, which is excellent!

Mr Andy Martin, our Network Religious Education Officer, from Mission and Identity, has already emailed to congratulate the College on these amazing results.

In summary:

Year 8

School average was 27.9/50, while the SCS average was 25.6/50

We received 13 High Distinctions, 67 Distinctions, 93 Credits and 14 Participation certificates.

Year 10

School average was 30.2/50, while the SCS average was 25.2/50

We received 46 High Distinctions, 65 Distinctions, 67 Credits and 9 Participation certificates.

Students who received a High Distinction in either Year 8 or Year 10 were presented with their certificates as part of the Academic Awards ceremonies last week. Other certificates were distributed in PC classes.

In particular, I’d like to thank the RE teachers for all their work preparing our students, working with them on past papers and helping them decipher how to answer the questions. I’d also like to thank the students of Year 8 and Year 10, who obviously took the test seriously and in doing so performed to the best of their ability.

Well done!
