New mobile phone policy introduced
St Ursula’s College is introducing a new mobile phone policy which will be effective from 2020. This is in place for all students from Year 7 through to Year 12.
Specific guidelines for the students are included in the new policy, which can be viewed here. The guidelines outline the times students are allowed to access their phones and for what purpose.
The Assistant Principal or Wellbeing Coordinator presented the policy to students at their Year Meetings and went through the new guidelines. All students were told that the policy will come into effect from the first day next year, 31 January.
Please take some time to read through the new policy and make sure your daughter is aware of the changes. We would very much appreciate parent/carer support in assisting students to manage their mobile phone use.
