November in our final Musicale 4 for the year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Van Reyk Percussion<\/li>\n<li>String Power<\/li>\n<li>Training Band<\/li>\n<li>Primary String Octet<\/li>\n<li>Glennie Percussion<\/li>\n<li>LUX Strings<\/li>\n<li>Contemporary Strings<\/li>\n<li>Bugles<\/li>\n<li>Clarion Band<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you all for your commitment to your ensembles and thank you also to parents for your support of the co-curricular Music program.\u00a0 Special thank you to our Ensemble directors: Mrs Anne Sweeney (Director of Strings), Mr Michael Tierney (Director of Bands) and to \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Ms Alex Silver\u2019s Lower Brass and Secondary Jazz Combo Lunchtime Concert <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Congratulations to the students from Ms Alex Silver\u2019s (Trombone) teaching studio who performed in last Wednesday\u2019s lunchtime concert in DB 1.\u00a0 It was lovely for each student to share their individual performances and for the girls to have an opportunity to hear the Secondary Jazz Combo perform <em>Jojo Calypso <\/em>by Jim Nadel.\u00a0 Ms Silver also conducts the Secondary Jazz Combo, and it was wonderful to hear the girls\u2019 development with their improvisation skills.
