The results are in… SCEGGS placed 2nd<\/sup><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Over two days Friday 21 and Saturday 22 October, 34 SCEGGS girls took part in the Independent Girls Schools Association (IGSA) Festival of Speech, this year held at Pymble Ladies College, with 27 schools competing. The event has been held on Zoom for the past 2 years so it was wonderful to have a face to face competition.<\/p>\n

The girls entered various sections: Current Affairs, Debating, Drama,Improvisation, Poetry,Public Speaking, Reading, Religious and Ethical Questions and Soap Box.<\/p>\n

The team showed amazing commitment as school exams were just a day away for many of them.<\/p>\n

Points were awarded for places 1 -5 in each section. PLC Sydney won the event followed by SCEGGS, MLC, Ravenswood, and Pymble.<\/p>\n
