{"id":9301,"date":"2022-10-27T10:52:27","date_gmt":"2022-10-26T23:52:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/sceggs\/?post_type=article&#038;p=9301"},"modified":"2022-10-27T10:52:27","modified_gmt":"2022-10-26T23:52:27","slug":"drama-news-38","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/sceggs\/article\/drama-news-38\/","title":{"rendered":"Drama News"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong>pretty.strange.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Our Senior production takes to the stage in week 5.<\/p>\n<p><em>pretty.strange.<\/em> has been written by SCEGGS alumna, Olivia Satchell after a commission by Ms Inga Scarlett for SCEGGS Drama.<\/p>\n<p>The play is set in an independent girls&#8217; school and is a modern reimagining of the Greek myth of Persephone in the Underworld. The story deals with rebirth and decay and is centred around a group of teenage misfits who come together to save another and reconnect with the natural environment. The play digs into themes of loss and disconnection.
