It was a wonderful opportunity for the girls to be immersed in an authentic learning experience which inspired them to speak as much French as possible with the reminder <em>anglais interdit! (English not permitted!).<\/em> Many questions were heard such as <em>Une table pour combien de personnes? (A table for how many people?) <\/em>and <em>Qu\u2019est-ce que vous voudrez? (What would you like?)<\/em>. It was a joyful experience as we received a surprise visit from the girls in Year 11 French. They were impressed with the committed and enthusiastic approach of our hosts! There are many wonderful French caf\u00e9s near us too. With travel on our mind, you may decide to travel to a French-speaking country yourself.
