The Science Department has extremely exciting news!! National Science Week starts next week!! So grab your lab coats and come on down to our lunch time demonstrations and competitions.<\/p>\n

There will be explosions and implosions, fire and bubbles, plus a chance to make your own stirring rod, to dissect a rat and to prove your superior knowledge in the famous Inter-House Science Competition.<\/p>\n

If you would like to estimate how many rubber bands it will take to implode our two watermelons, Boggus and Gregory, you can add your estimates here<\/a>. Prizes will be awarded to anyone with the correct estimate.<\/p>\n

These amazing experiments, demonstrations and competitions will kick off next week. If you would like to dissect a rat, please email<\/a> Mrs Sharma and she will put your name down on the list. All the other experiments will be open to all, with a first in, best dressed policy. We hope to see you EVERY lunch next week! Come and get your Science on!!<\/p>\n
